Fuzzy Feet, So Many Questions....
Well, just a few....
First off, why won't my Fuzzy Icon guy hop around like other peoples Icons? Must be how Blogger stores pictures. Surely it can't be something I did! (LOL Ha Ha Ha hee hee, Yeah Right)
Second, I want to make quite a few pairs of these and have an idea. What if I make them out of Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool and dye them while I'm felting them. Can I do that? I was going to use Rit Dye. Should I use something else? Wouldn't want anyone complaining about stained carpets and floors
So I may just have a felting party. I'll invite the giftees over and we can felt and fit the fuzzy feet. Have to figure out a way to mark them in the washer. This can also give me a little more time to gift after the Holiday.......
I did work a bit on my Mystic Poncho last night as well as a wine cozy.
I can't believe it is November. Our weather has been so mild that this is the first week furnace has turned on in the morning. Lucky us!

I have never tired to dye while felting. I know some dyes that you use in the washer don't like hot water and some don't like cold water.
I might make the fuzzy feet than dye them stove top then felt them in the washer. You could still do the dyeing and felting in the same day just going from dye pot to washer.
I've used Kool Aid to dye Fisherman's Wool. It worked beautifully! I did it before I worked with the yarn, then felted it after. Pre dyeing it made the yarn softer to work with, too.
