Happy New Year!
One of my resolutions is to blog more! :-). I realized many of the things I knitted as gifts for Christmas got out the door without a picture for documentation. Anyway, many were fuzzy feet (a standby gift for me) a few toasty toppers (also from knitty) and various other assorted crafts.
I LOVE felting (or fulling which I think is the more correct term) These mittens are nice and toasty for Esther. I enjoyed them before they hit the wash!
They sure are a lot of fun!
Another New Years Resolution is to enter something in the local fair. I've decided it should be this:
I've had this pattern for quite awhile. I had started it in an acrylic yarn and hated it. The pattern is from an old Bernat yarn label. I seem to like the vintage and hard to find patterns!
Anyway, It's good to be back. I'm looking forward to this New Year and want to do a lot to improve my health and life. I'll bore you with the gory details as time goes on..... ;-)

Happy New Year to you too!! The felted mittens look gorgeous!! I think generally the world has given up on 'fulling' and it's just all felting. Good luck with your Fair entry. We have Shows here, Agricultural Shows!!!
Cute mittens! I don't think there is anything warmer than felted mittens. I love that Bernat cable pattern!
