Knitting, Dogs and More: Lopi Sweater Progress

Lopi Sweater Progress

I just realized something. I call this the Lopi Sweater. The pattern is Lopi, but the yarn is Patons Icelandic. Most of the knitting has been done during the TV show "24". We watched some of the Marathon reruns on A&E this past weekend. So maybe I should rename it the "24" sweater. Anyway, I'm up to the point where I joined the sleeves to the body. The wool is bulky and the sweater knitted in the round so it's pretty quick. It's going to be nice and warm and bulky. I picture the "What not to Wear" ladies seen on Oprah recently would nab me in it, but I'll be warm :-).

I'll be getting ready for the Fall semester of Music Together, so won't have as much time to spend knitting. Hmmm, already felt like I didn't have a lot of time to spend. Maybe if I was better at time management and organization......

I also finished the edging on some fleece blankets gathered some sheets and will either send them to Houston or see if the evacuation centers in San Jose or San Francisco are accepting donations. Thanks Kimberlee New York for the idea.
