And The Winner Is........
NorCalLover! This is a bit funny in away and could 'cause some speculation the drawing was rigged. NorCalLover is a good friend and Mom to Ethan, Esther's best friend she "grew" up with from birth to almost 3 years old when their family moved :-(.
I learned a little bit holding this contest! As a few people pointed out, some areas in the country with snow in the winter are subjected to wet, salty roads. That causes rust! So hence the need for a winter car you don't worry about and a nicer car or motorcycle for the warm weather! Take care all!
Oh, You're probably wondering what NorCalLover won....A set of two dishcloths! I'll make them with her blog in mind so it's a bit of a surprise.
I did finish the other two dishcloths for the exchange but don't want to show them incase the person receiving them sees them here and guesses who they are for.

Um, no, still . . . we have plenty of winter weather here, but all I've got is one car. The salt thing is what they've got car washes for! (grin) I suppose if you live in Buffalo, though, and get a magnitude more of snow than we get in NJ it MIGHT be practical, but still . . . !
Hi Tori,
thanks for stopping by and saying hi :) You asked about the garterlac dishcloth, it can be found here
I read your 'rant' below and believe me it was warranted and has caused a stir down here. Germaine Greer is an expat Australian, now in the UK who in the 1970's was always opening her very large gob far too often than was necessary!! It came as no surprise that she said what she did but once again it was in extremely poor taste which unfortunately has been a trait of this now bitter old feminist :(
