Close to the Finish on a Few Projects

I am very close to finishing Ethan's Sweater and the Care Bear Costumes.  This week I will push to finish and post pictures of these projects.  I also need to stop and put things away and organize a bit.  Thought I returned a library book but they still show that I have it checked out.  It's due date is the end of the week so I will turn the house upside down looking for it and check their shelves the next time I'm in.  This is something that bothers me, lost/misplaced things.

We had a fun weekend even though Steven was at a convention.  Esther and I went to a Halloween event downtown.  She dressed as Dora (I'll post that as the wig is knitted).  She had fun in the bouncy house and riding a pony but couldn't be convinced to go into the Halloween.  She likes the "fun" Halloween, not the SCARY Halloween.  We also went to my niece's 30th Birthday Party and enjoyed seeing relatives and meeting some of her friends.  Wild to think she's a (young) woman of that age!

Esther as Dora the Explorer. The wig is a scaled down version of Knitty.com's Hallowig. I'm hoping to have a spare evening to make a bright orange one for me in keeping with the original intent of the pattern. (Before Halloween) When I saw the pattern, I immediately saw a dark brown "Dora" version for Esther in my minds eye. Posted by Hello
