Me Myself and I brought to my attention something that should be on everyone's knitting to do list: Jens Blanket and of course
Martha's Poncho. The Poncho is okay as far as ponchos go. Doesn't everyone have a blanket someone in their family made in the 70's like this one? If Toast with the runaway brides picture on it is auctioned for close to $16,000 on EBay, what would a blanket bring? Yeah, I'll get right on that. Someone has probably beaten me to the punch and I have no desire to even do a search on EBay to find out.
Can you believe I'm still on the Baby Surprise Jacket? I've only had a few minutes a few times a week to work on it. I'm hoping in a few weeks things will settle down a bit and I can spend some serious knitting time. I have some prep work I need to do for Music Together. I'd like to be able to accompany the children on the guitar and piano (not at the same time) for two songs that are always sung in class. It's not required, but I think it would be nice for them to hear. I also want to take voice lessons. The point isn't to have a great singing voice but I need help with projection in a way that doesn't strain my voice.
I did catch "The Dog Whisperer" on Oprah's After Show. He is funny (in a good way) and has good advice. Made me realize how important it is for me to figure out how I'm going to get out and walk with my 3. I have good tips on getting them to walk properly and halti collars for the two big ones, so I'll start this afternoon. Right now I can only take one at a time and with training it's not really walking yet, more like pacing, stopping, instructing, praising, but we have to start somewhere.
Yikes, I'm off to start my day! Take care everyone! Hang in there, one of these days I'll have real live knitting news!
