Surprise Revealed! It's Maddie!

  • Maddie!
    • Chocloate Lab!
    • Female (spayed)!
    • 13 months!
    • Well-mannered, Great Temprement!
    • Trained!

Friends of mine have been asking if I knew of anyone who wanted to take their 2 female chocolate labs. They originally were supposed to be for their two kids. As often happens, they are just too busy for VERY ACTIVE YOUNG dogs. Both Mom and Dad work LONG hours and the kids have many after school activities. That didn't stop them from taking great care of them and working with them. Even though they are still pups, they are very well mannered and have had training.

I tried to get a picture of all 3 dogs (haa haa) but that didn't work. Maddie is adjusting to life at our house. Sparky and Bentley really like her. It has been an adjustment for Maddie as she was so attached to her sister, they would move around like one being, jumping over each other, sharing toys, food, etc.
She will still get to see her sister because my sister-in-law adopted her. Needless to say, I'm delighted! I grew up in a community where labs were prevelant and dogs were free to run around the neighborhood with their family. It is also nice to have a dog that doesn't have some of the issues rescue dogs can have such as lack of training, socialization, or outright abuse.  Posted by Hello

Another Clue.....and a cute thing Esther said.

We have been enjoying the nice weather and our surprise. A few clues for anyone interested in guessing the surprise so they can be specific. Part of the name for what my surprise is also is the name of something I love to eat. This item's nutritional value has been debated but darker versions in moderation seem to be in favor with health experts. My computer is virus free, I have a few things to reload and hope tomorrow I can post a picture of the surprise, so guess soon!

Now for the cute thing Esther said. We were outside and she asked me to get a cobweb down. When I asked her where it was she said, "It's in my imagination." I found out later that is what she calls the area under her Little Tikes slide/playstructure.

Guess the Surprise Win a Small Prise!

I'm logging this from my sister's computer because mine has fallen ill. Yes I'm pretty sure it has a virus or something as equally bad. I may not be able to reveal my Surprise and have had some inquiries so I thought it might be fun to give a small knitting related prise to the first visitor (who doesn't already know) who guesses what the Surprise is. The first clue is: 1. It combines two things that I adore (Love is an overused word, but would work).
