A meme, and some booties

I've seen this on a few blogs and seems to have originated with Peggy. I thought I'd do it. I knew I might get a few references to Tori Amos. Basically you type your name followed by "needs" in a google search. I typed in "Tori needs"

1. tori needs to stand up to complete the technique. - Must be referring to my cabling technique.
2. tori needs to break free of the grip before doing the nikyo. - Odd as my knitting's on the loose side.
3. Tori needs to get off her whiney ass and wash her sheets. - (Hey I resemble..uh I mean resent that remark!)
4. Tori needs us as much as we need her. - I Really Really Do!
5. Tori needs to work with out deadlines. - Okay Okay, I'll ease up on the KAL's
6. Tori needs a loan from the Girl Zone. - Hey whatever gets me more yarn.
7. Tori Needs Pull Ups size 18 months - Sorry, don't need them I'm potty trained. I was in cloth when I was a babe and Miss E is now in 3T.
8. Tori needs a good security guy. - Don't we all?!?!
9. Tori needs a break! - Finally someone understands!
10. Tori needs to target Uke's leg between the bottom of the calve. - Sorry, I think my hubby might object and I'm not into that kind of thing anyway.

My sister is having a meet the twins party/shower for my nieces boys. So at the influence of Crazy Aunt Purl I'm making these. If I have enough yarn I'll make 5 just incase one of the boys loses one. I also have the makings for grandma and mom silver alphabet bracelets for my sister and niece. This is gonna distract me from the TKGA knitting and my poncho. Mystic Poncho Progress


I'm a quarter of the way through the Poncho. I know this because (geek that I am) I made an excel spreadsheet of the running number of stitches per row. I've knitted purled or made 7912 stitches. I have no idea if this is a good way to estimate how much yarn you will use. If it is, I will be close to using all of it. Hmm, wondering if I should see if one more skein in this color and lot is available.



My Birthday was this weekend and Esther LOVES singing Happy Birthday. She and Steven really made my Birthday special even though we didn't do much this year. Sometimes that is more than okay.
