Whiskers!

My kitty needs Whiskers! I just finished her, threw the sweater on a chair and clicked a picture. I could have straightened her up a bit, but was excited she's finished. As I mentioned before the sweater was knit in the round. I had to redo the neck because it was to tight. The pocket I knit with the Hello Kitty motif was to big and I really needed sportweight black yarn. So I redid just the motif in single crochet as an aplique.
While out and about today I begain to question my sanity in knitting sweaters. People were in short sleeves and shorts. Looks like we are exempt for the time being from the Groundhogs prediction of 6 more weeks winter weather.
 

Here Kitty Kitty Kitty.....

Here's Esther with a kitty that lives in our neighborhood. This was taken in November and he's a bit bigger and fluffier now. He stops by to visit almost everyday, teasing the dogs and letting us pet him if we're here when he comes by. I appreciate him because Esther used to be afraid of cats and he's helped her overcome that. So today I'm hoping to finish up the Hello Kitty sweater and start on the hat and purse. 

Where's the Kitty?

I need to do a few things.... I knitted this in the round so now need to make a pocket with the Hello Kitty design. I also need to redo the neck, it is too tight to get over Esther's head. Then I'll make a Hello Kitty Hat, Gloves, Purse and Scarf. I think the Purse and Hat will come first as it is nice and warm here now.
